It's to do with how you are singing. When you hit that high note, you are pushing harder than anywhere else, which creates a volume peak. In a professional studio, we would solve the problem by placing a hardware compressor between the mic and the audio interface, which can be used to control peaks.

If you do not own a compressor, you have two options. First, you can record at lower volume, and then afterwards insert a compressor plugin to smooth out the level. Alternatively, you must teach yourself the technique of physically leaning backwards away from the mic when you hit that high note. If you watch videos of live concert performances, you will often see singers hold the mic away from themselves for a few notes - this is because they know they are hitting that note very hard.

Good luck!

please help me on how can i control the volume of the vocal. Because when the vocal reaches the highest note at the same time the volume becomes larger. My question is where should i reduce my volume it is on the mixer or in my recording software? Thank You
